Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pickleball Central Pty Ltd t/a PicklePlay Dingley Village.

This web site is owned and operated by Picklball Central Pty Ltd trading as “Pickle Play Dingley” and will be referred to as “Pickle Play Dingley”, “We”, “our” and “us” in this Internet Privacy Policy.

 

By using our facilities, participating in our events, or engaging with our services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Use of Facilities

  • All players, visitors, and guests must adhere to the rules and regulations of PicklePlay Dingley Village.

  • Proper athletic attire and non-marking court shoes are required at all times. Players are not permitted to play on the courts in work shoes, high heel shoes, workboots, slides or thongs.

  • Players must check in at the front desk or via our online system before using the courts.

  • Food, beverages (other than water or sports drinks) are prohibited on the courts.

  • Our venue is completely non-smoking. We do not permit cigarettes, vapes, e-cigarettes or any similar such items to be used in our venue.

  • Respectful behavior is expected toward staff, other players, and the facility. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the premises without refund.

2. Court Reservations and Payments

  • Court reservations must be made through our online booking system or at the front desk.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking for court rentals, clinics, coaching, tournaments, or other services.

  • All fees are non-transferable and subject to applicable taxes.

  • We reserve the right to modify pricing or availability at any time without prior notice.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations for court reservations or event registrations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund or credit.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the reserved time or event, except in cases of facility closure due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. maintenance).

  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 2 business days to the original payment method.

4. Liability and Assumption of Risk

  • Participation in pickleball and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury. By using our facilities, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

  • We, our staff, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained during use of the facilities or participation in events, except where caused by our gross negligence.

  • All participants must sign a liability waiver before using the facilities. Minors (under 18) require a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

5. Equipment and Personal Belongings

  • Players are responsible for providing their own pickleball paddles and appropriate equipment unless otherwise provided by the center.

  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. We recommend securing valuables in designated areas or leaving them at home.

6. Events and Programs

  • Registration for clinics, tournaments, leagues, or other programs is subject to availability and may have specific eligibility requirements (e.g. skill level or age).

  • We reserve the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule events due to insufficient registration, or other unforeseen circumstances. Affected participants will be notified and offered a refund or credit.

  • Photography and videography may occur during events for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your likeness unless otherwise notified in writing.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Players must follow all posted court rules and instructions from PicklePlay Dingley Village staff.

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, including verbal or physical abuse, will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership or access. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the premises without refund.

  • Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.

8. Memberships (if applicable)

  • Memberships are non-transferable and valid only for the named member.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the membership agreement.

  • We reserve the right to terminate memberships for violation of these Terms and Conditions or facility rules.

9. Health and Safety

  • Players must adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including those related to communicable diseases, as mandated by local, state, or federal authorities.

  • If you feel unwell or exhibit symptoms of illness, please refrain from visiting the facility.

  • We may implement health screenings or other measures as needed to ensure a safe environment.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including logos, images, and text, is the property of PicklePlay Dingley Village and may not be reproduced without permission.

  • Event names, branding, and promotional materials are protected and may not be used for commercial purposes without written consent.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our facilities constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
